2008
Overview of our 2008!
For us it was a year with some big changes.
In January the family got a new member, Sebastian  a grandson  .
As always during the winter season Curling  was on our weekly schedule.
In February we had a lot of snow  .
Finally spring  started with family  and friends  at a traditional Easter egghunt! 
Early summer we finally made our trip up North. We always wanted to do the Dempster Hwy.
and cross the Arctic Circle  on the way to Inuvik  to experience the midnight sun 
It was a great trip  where we met a lot of interesting people and landscapes.
  
Kevin discovered a new sport. 
Brian and Hilary got a condominium in Victoria  with an incredible view.
Shortly after the big trip up North, we had our traditional visit to Switzerland . 
This time included a great visit with  Edmee and Peter on the Lake of Como.   
In St.Moritz a party with the gang. 
Long overdue was a visit to the 'Berner Oberland' 'Scharnchtal'.   
And of course pleasent visits with family and friends.  
In fall Yvonne had to have brain surgery (subdural haematome) .  This was quite unexpected and shocking, but it was over and healed in no time!
Visits of Kevin and family in Nanaimo. 
The winter started with a bang    in Nanaimo with lots of snow and a
white Christmas     
which we celebrated in Victoria.
